UK official says hopes Israeli government reconsiders its decision on Gaza

UK Energy Department official Miatta Fahnbulleh expressed hope on Friday that Israel would reconsider its decision to take control of Gaza City.

Speaking to Times Radio, Fahnbulleh said, “We believe this decision is wrong, and we hope the Israeli government reconsiders it.”

She added, “It signals an escalation of an already horrific and unbearable situation.”
