Starmer: Israel's decision on Gaza City is wrong

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Friday that Israel’s decision to take control of Gaza City is wrong, urging the Israeli government to reconsider it.

In a statement, Starmer said, “The Israeli government’s decision to escalate its assault on Gaza is wrong, and we urge them to reconsider it immediately.”

“This move will not help end the conflict or secure the release of hostages — it will only lead to more bloodshed,” he added.
