Finance Minister Jaber says reviving banking sector and ensuring fairness for depositors a top priority

Finance Minister Yassine Jaber stressed that one of the top priorities must be reviving the banking sector and finding solutions for depositors’ funds, following his meeting with Banque du Liban Governor Karim Souaid.

He said, “We agreed on unifying our vision, and there is support from the Speaker of Parliament and the government.”

He added, “The goal is to ensure fairness in repaying depositors.”
