Authorities pursue individual for spreading false evacuation rumor in Keserwan

Lebanese authorities are pursuing a citizen who circulated a false warning claiming that residents near the Limar compound in Sahel Alma area of Keserwan had received a phone call instructing them to evacuate their homes.

Officials confirmed that the alert was unfounded and warned the public against spreading rumors that could cause unnecessary panic. Investigations are ongoing to hold the individual responsible for disseminating the false information.
