Israel warns Beirut's suburbs residents to evacuate immediately

Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee issued an urgent warning on X to residents of Beirut's southern suburbs, calling on them to evacuate several neighborhoods immediately.

The warning specifically targeted residents in Haret Hreik, Ghobeiry, Laylaki, Hadath, Borj El Brajneh, Tahouitet El Ghadir, and Chiyah.

Adraee said that what he described as Hezbollah's activities are forcing the Israeli army to act forcefully against the group, stressing that the army does not intend to harm civilians.

He urged residents to evacuate the neighborhoods immediately and not return until further notice.

The statement added that the army would not hesitate to strike anyone located near members of Hezbollah, its facilities, or its military assets, warning residents that remaining in the area could put their lives at risk.
