Israeli army says expanding security zone in South Lebanon

The Israeli army said its 146th Division is expanding the scope of an advanced security zone in South Lebanon and advancing toward a 'new objective.'

In a statement, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said the division has already destroyed more than 200 pieces of infrastructure during its operations.

He added that forces are continuing to widen the security zone while carrying out operations that include destroying infrastructure, targeting fighters, and locating large quantities of weapons.
