UAE, Jordan, Iraq express solidarity with Lebanon amid ongoing Israeli aggression

Lebanon's President Joseph Aoun received a series of calls from regional leaders expressing solidarity as Israeli strikes continue across the country.

Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid spoke with Aoun by phone on Thursday, during which they discussed the latest developments in the region. Rashid reaffirmed Iraq's full support—from its leadership, government, and people—for Lebanon, strongly condemning the attacks and stressing Iraq's commitment to Lebanon's security and sovereignty.

In a separate call, Jordan's King Abdullah II conveyed his condolences to Aoun and the Lebanese people over the victims of ongoing Israeli strikes. He denounced the targeting of civilians and residential areas, and reiterated Jordan's solidarity with Lebanon during what he described as difficult circumstances.

The United Arab Emirates also issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli attacks on multiple areas in Lebanon, warning of the danger of continued escalation and its impact on regional stability.

In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for intensified international efforts to halt the attacks, prevent further bloodshed, and ensure full protection for civilians in accordance with international law and treaties.
