Minister of Information: Solution lies in internationally sponsored negotiations to end war

Minister of Information Paul Morcos said, following his meeting with President Joseph Aoun in Baabda, that “the solution lies through a negotiation mechanism under international sponsorship, and war only serves to increase destruction in Lebanon,” adding: “We are moving toward the solution previously outlined by President Aoun.”

Morcos noted that “President Aoun’s efforts are clear in calling for, emphasizing, urging, and pressuring for a ceasefire and an end to the war, and we are proceeding within the framework of this presidential initiative.”
