Lebanese Army: Removal of Israeli-built earth barrier on Mari–Ain Arab road, rehabilitation works continue on Tayr Felsayh–Tyre bridge

The Lebanese Army command said a specialized army unit removed an earthen barrier that had been placed by Israeli forces on April 18, 2026, on the road between Mari and Ain Arab in the Tyre area.

It added that a monitoring point was established at the Mari–Al-Abbassiyeh–Ain Arab junction.

The army also said that, as part of ongoing efforts to rehabilitate the Tayr Felsayh–Tyre bridge, work has begun on installing a concrete culvert to allow vehicles to pass.
