Kataeb Party condemns attacks on UAE and Oman

The foreign relations department of the Kataeb Party strongly condemned what it described as a missile attack targeting one of the world’s largest oil storage facilities in Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates on May 4, 2026, as well as an attack on Oman, calling it a dangerous and unjustified escalation threatening regional security and stability.

In a statement, the party said launching missiles toward Emirati and Omani territory constitutes a hostile act and a clear violation of international law and principles of good neighborly relations.

The Kataeb Party’s foreign relations body held Iran “fully responsible” for what it described as hostile behavior, saying the continued attacks reflect “the Iranian destabilizing project targeting peaceful neighboring states.”

It also expressed full solidarity with the UAE and Oman, their leaderships and peoples, stressing what it described as their legitimate right to take all necessary measures to protect their sovereignty and national security.
