Israeli army says it struck more than 85 Hezbollah targets across Lebanon in 24 hours

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said Saturday that the Israeli military had carried out strikes on more than 85 Hezbollah-linked sites across several areas in Lebanon over the past 24 hours.

In a statement, Adraee said the Israeli army “continues to operate to eliminate threats against Israeli civilians and Israeli army forces in southern Lebanon.”

According to the statement, the strikes targeted Hezbollah infrastructure, including weapons depots, launch platforms, and buildings allegedly used for military purposes, where Hezbollah members were said to be operating and planning attacks against Israeli forces and Israel.

Adraee added that the Israeli army also struck an underground site in the Bekaa region that he claimed was used by Hezbollah to manufacture combat equipment intended to target Israeli troops and civilians.

The statement further said that Hezbollah members allegedly involved in planning attacks against Israeli forces operating in southern Lebanon were also targeted.
