Israeli army issues urgent evacuation warning for Nabatieh residents

The Israeli army issued an urgent warning on Tuesday to residents in the southern Lebanese city of Nabatieh, calling on them to evacuate immediately.

In a statement, the army said that in light of what it described as violations of the ceasefire agreement by Hezbollah, it was being forced to operate against the group with force, stressing that it does not intend to harm civilians.

The warning instructed residents to leave their homes “immediately” and move north of the Zahrani River.

It added that anyone who remains near Hezbollah members, infrastructure, or military assets would be putting their lives at risk.
