Lebanon-Israel talks reach expanded ceasefire arrangements, details expected in joint statement: LBCI

Information obtained by LBCI indicates that Lebanese-Israeli negotiations have reached understandings on ceasefire arrangements that go beyond the current framework in place, with further details expected to be clarified in a forthcoming joint statement.

According to the same information, U.S. officials insisted that the negotiating session continue until an understanding on a ceasefire was reached. Lines of communication reportedly remained open between the U.S. State Department, the White House, Beirut, and Tel Aviv throughout the talks.
