Israel issues evacuation warning for Tyre and surrounding areas in southern Lebanon

The Israeli military on Tuesday issued an urgent evacuation warning for residents of the southern Lebanese city of Tyre and several surrounding neighborhoods and camps, saying it planned to carry out operations against Hezbollah following what it described as violations of the ceasefire agreement.

The Israeli military called on residents of Tyre, including the city's Christian quarter, as well as residents of the areas of Chabriha, Hamadiyeh, Jal al-Bahr, Zaqouq al-Mufdi, el-Buss, al-Maashouk, Burj al-Shamali, Nabaa, al-Housh, Rashidiyeh and Ain Baal, to immediately leave their homes and move north of the Zahrani River.
