Iran demands recognition of its sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz

Press TV quoted an official on Wednesday as saying that Iran is demanding recognition of its sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, describing it as its “natural and legal right.”

This comes after Tehran reviewed a U.S. proposal to end the war and considered its conditions excessive, according to the report.
