Russia’s FM discusses Gulf situation with UAE counterpart

Russia’s Foreign Ministry said that Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a phone call on Tuesday with his UAE counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The two ministers discussed the situation in the Gulf region following the U.S.-Iran talks in Islamabad, and called for an immediate and lasting ceasefire, as well as continued diplomatic efforts.
