Turkey’s FM accuses Israel of seeking “to occupy more territory”

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Saturday accused Israel of using the war in the Middle East as a pretext “to occupy more territory.”

Speaking during a diplomatic forum in Antalya, he said: “Israel is not only seeking to ensure its security, but also wants more land. The government of Benjamin Netanyahu is using security as a pretext to occupy more territory.”
