UAE Energy Minister: Withdrawal from OPEC offers flexibility, no prior consultations held

The UAE’s Energy Minister said on Tuesday that the country’s withdrawal from OPEC and OPEC+ provides greater flexibility, as it will no longer be bound by commitments within the group.

According to Reuters, the minister added that the United Arab Emirates did not directly consult with other countries, including Saudi Arabia, before making the decision.
