Iran says to seek UN Security Council ratification after final deal with US

Iran's foreign ministry said on Monday it would seek ratification from the U.N. Security Council after it negotiates a final agreement covering its nuclear program with the United States.

"The final agreement is expected to be endorsed by a United Nations Security Council resolution after a period of 60 days," said foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei in a weekly press briefing, adding that Tehran "will learn from past experience."
