Iran allows Iraqi oil tankers to cross Strait of Hormuz

Iran has authorized several Iraqi oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz following repeated requests from Baghdad through various channels, Iran’s state news agency IRNA reported on Saturday.

The agency said securing special permission for Iraqi tankers was one of Baghdad’s main demands during Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf’s visit to Iraq.
