Bessent says gasoline prices hurting Americans but expected to fall after Iran war

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Monday that gasoline prices are affecting Americans but are expected to decline quickly once the war with Iran ends.

In an interview with Fox News, Bessent added that the United States is working to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and that assistance is on the way to the area.
