Interior minister: Parliamentary elections on track; government closely following prisoner exchange

Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad al-Hajjar, upon entering the Council of Ministers hall, confirmed that the government is closely monitoring the prisoner exchange process. 

He also stressed that the upcoming parliamentary elections will take place on schedule without any delays.

Meanwhile, Telecommunications Minister Charles Hajj said that the ministry has completed its part regarding the “Starlink” issue, noting that the final decision now rests with the Council of Ministers.
