President Aoun holds urgent calls With France, Greece over escalating Israeli attacks

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun called French President Emmanuel Macron to brief him on the latest military developments in southern Lebanon following the expansion of Israeli attacks and incursions into several border villages, requesting France’s intervention to halt the Israeli military advance.

President Aoun also spoke with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, discussing the situation in Lebanon amid the widening Israeli strikes in the south, the Bekaa Valley and Beirut’s southern suburbs.
