Lebanon’s Health Minister announces hotline 1787 for displaced, begins medication distribution plan

Health Minister Rakan Nassereddine announced that the ministry has allocated hotline number 1787 to assist displaced residents amid ongoing developments.

Nassereddine said the ministry has begun distributing medications to primary health care centers and to shelters affiliated with them. 

He called on displaced individuals who have taken refuge in private homes to visit primary health care centers to receive their medications at the ministry’s expense.

“The state must fulfill its duty, and we are part of the state. We will do what is required and keep you informed of developments,” he said.
