Israeli army warns residents of nine villages in South Lebanon to evacuate

The Israeli army has issued an urgent warning to residents in nine villages in South Lebanon, calling on them to evacuate immediately.

In a statement, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee listed the areas concerned as Bir El Sanasel, Deir Kifa, Kfar Dounine, Chehabiyeh, Sultaniyeh, Deyrintar, Qantara, Ghandouriyeh, and Borj Qalaouiye.

The army said Hezbollah's activities in those areas are forcing it to operate with significant force, while claiming it does not intend to harm civilians.

Residents were urged to leave their homes immediately and move north of the Zahrani River for their safety.
