President Aoun briefs envoy ahead of Washington talks, stresses ceasefire priority

Sources told LBCI that a call took place a short while ago between President Joseph Aoun and Lebanon’s ambassador to Washington, ahead of the start of negotiations in Washington.

During the call, the president reiterated his instructions to the ambassador, particularly regarding Lebanon’s firm position on reaching a ceasefire
