Lebanon’s Youth Minister distributes Eid gifts to displaced children at Camille Chamoun Sports City

Lebanese Youth and Sports Minister Nora Bayrakdarian visited the Camille Chamoun Sports City, where she extended Eid al-Adha greetings to displaced families and distributed gifts to around 500 children.

Bayrakdarian said the initiative was meant to stand with children during the holiday, adding that “the joy of Eid begins with their smiles.” She said the visit carried a message of hope and reaffirmed that the state must remain close to its people, especially children and youth.

She added that the occasion reflects solidarity and unity, stressing that Lebanon remains capable of creating moments of joy despite ongoing challenges.

The event included participation from scouts and volunteers from several Lebanese organizations, as well as members of the Lebanese Red Cross youth sector, who helped organize and distribute gifts.
