Trump claims all Iranian missile stockpiles destroyed, discusses future leadership options

U.S. President Donald Trump made a series of statements regarding recent U.S. and Israeli operations in Iran, asserting that “everything has been destroyed” in the country.

He claimed that the strikes targeted all Iranian missile stockpiles accumulated over past years.

Trump said the next step would be addressing Iran’s military, emphasizing the need to “eliminate the army” before considering broader political outcomes.

He suggested that the country’s leadership should return to the Iranian people, mentioning that the son of the former Shah could be an option, but a leader from within Iran might be more suitable.

He also expressed hope that the conflict would end as quickly as possible, saying that both the U.S. and Israeli militaries are working to achieve this goal.

Trump added that 95% of improvised explosive devices in the region originate from Iran, which he described as a longstanding sponsor of global terrorism, stating that action had been necessary.
