Adnoc CEO: Strait of Hormuz has never belonged to Iran to close

Sultan Al Jaber, CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), said on Sunday in a post on X that the Strait of Hormuz has never been owned by Iran to close or restrict navigation.

He added that any disruption in the strait would constitute “a blockage of a global economic lifeline and a direct threat to energy, food, and health security for all countries around the world.”

Al Jaber said such behavior would be “illegal, dangerous, and unacceptable,” stressing that the world cannot bear its consequences or allow it to happen.
